Default Changing graphics setting causes client crash

    Hello,

Earlier this morning I was tinkering around with my graphics settings, and all was fine.

This afternoon I swapped out my computer's memory.

Upon logging in, if I attempt to "detect settings" or change the actual drop-down for the settings the client crashes.

I can change every sub-category in the graphics and advanced graphics without problems except for those two fields.

The only change I made to my computer was to open the case, pull out two sticks of memory, and put to others in.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks in advance,
    G

First guess... That you accidently dislodged another cable while you were changing out memory. Most likely the extra power cable that most newer graphics cards require.

I'd also be inclined to reseat the graphics card while I was at it, just because...

Another possibility is that the RAM you just bought was DOA... have you tried a memory tester?
