well personaly i would think that they would be equal,
1 blue scale = 1 Lrg devil scale
2=2
and so on and so forth, just think of how hard they drop,

And to the OP - based on sell value - I would say that currently it is at a 2:1 ratio (blue dragon:devil) for the scales. As with anything, it will vary depending on who you are doing business with, and what they deem important and relevant at the time of transaction.

Fair market value should be based on what you get for what you are giving...I wouldn't buy into the hype of 1:1 or 2:1...Think of it from an item perspective...

You should give enough ingred's to make at least one fully crafted Shroud item for a set of Blues...no more than 6 Large Scales for a double imbued Supreme Shard, should the person be looking for other ingred's along that then it should be fair to say those should be included in the deal unless of course that person could careless about the other ingred's.

Item for Item-you should do well to not to burn all of your large scales though for a set of Blue IMHO-and you would do well not to listen to trade scenarios put up by others based on AH values. Think of it differently than that and someone will end up meeting your request.

I would be willing to make that trade at a ratio of 3, maybe up to 4 blue scales per large devil scale...

blue scales are so mod 4 large scales are worth 10 times blues imho but im sure others would disagree. would you trade a +2 tome for 2 blue scales,5 or 10 ok how many large scales would you trade for a +2 tome i have been getting them for 1 or 2 large scales.

i had a recent post offering 1 large scale for 4 blue scales, and a couple +2 tomes for 4 blue scales each. i was fighting the offers off with a stick. i also traded a lot of non-scales for 2 blues each.
