is there a way to get a list of a guild in game? I mean, is there a "who" feature for guilds?

I wish there was....There is, but only if you're in the guild.

    Default Hmm. . .

I don't know of anyone who won't group with me, and there's no one with whom I won't group. My Squelch List is rather lengthy, but it has no bearing on who I will and will not group with. Even when a certain Cleric was being blacklisted, I was willing to group with him. I have taken issue with certain individuals over Voice Chat for their treatment of other members of a pug raid, regardless of whether they are the leader or not.

While there are certainly memorable exceptions, the players here normally behave as adults and treat other people as adults. It's really one of the best parts of the game. The psychological dynamic the OP cites is a very real and troubling vector in social interactions, but its instances are (as I've indicated) rather limited.

Coming to Forums to say your piece is one thing, but treating everyone who reads Forums to a public puke to which you will no longer respond does not speak well to your own level of maturity, and Boldrin has done a good job of limiting his dispute.

Often in these situations, misunderstandings can have their conclusions and emotional investments blown out of proportion. It's often a good idea to step back, avoid the players in question, and try to put it behind you.

Kudos to Elite Raiders for their clear illustration of how this can be done.

Because most civilians are conflict adverse cowards.

The Marine Corps teaches that if you witness someone doing something unsat, and you don't correct them, then you're just as guilty as they are. Its too bad our society doesn't pick that up.

From what I can tell, the OP is dealing with people who decided to do something to try and correct "unsat" behavior from him and/or his guildies. Interestingly enough, it seems to be working... I haven't seen any instances of the original complaint since this started.

Of course, my viewpoint is tainted, as I've been classified by the OP as one of these "bullies". Which I find remarkably funny, considering that the only "bullying" I might have done was to disagree with him or his guildies on the forums. Oh, I challenged them to a Qwijilack GreenMart grudge match too, which they interpreted as a "back alley street fight".

Well not that I said it but alluded to the subject, which he got wrong, but that is another matter. In a certain part of quest/raid when heals are normally done with spot heals AND mass cures.......2 certain guildes noticed ZERO heals or cures being done to them. The clerics targeted only pure heals and made sure not even a mass cure went off in case 2 guildies "might" get cured. They both assuming since they were doing their duties in quest/raid as was everyone else or so they thought....died. Not only that, they were the ONLY 2 to die in that part. They checked their combat logs and sure enough not one heal or mass cure was extended their way.
Ok I have been asking myself forever how do you CLERICS do this????
Is it the /squelchheal option that doesn't see to be working for me on my cleric((((( Somebody explain to me how you not heal someone with your mass heals???

I can just see one reason-not being where the mass heals are?
As for curses everybody knows better to bring potions,we all happen to run out and not have but pls don't blame it on the cleric they have enought usually to deal with to watch over somebodys curses. If you don't come prepaired for quest that you have probably done over and over and over again........then whos to blame?

Well the problem here is that you are applying your own game experience (mine as well) with logic and seasoning it with reason. the OP is just a rant and I consider the "no healing" story to be at best exaggerated, more likely totally unfounded. Personally, I have found Shaddowhand2's other threads about "crossing the line" (which he/she seems to have no adversion to doing him or herself) and that other "Guild problem" one to be much more entertaining and worthy of roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. I am going to boycott this one and just eat my marshmallows raw I guess.

I wont comment poorly on the USMC. I wont comment poorly on the USMC. But I agree. The US Military does teach this. But then again you cant hold civillians to that due to the fact that they havent had the training we have. Those concepts get ingrained into the core of military training. Civies have a whole different set of rules.
