I'll start this with...
We in A&O may talk too much, usually me and the other NYer(mostly him) but, is this silent trek through the shroud fun for you guys???

I mean seriously isn't this suppose to fun?

It feels like your taking a test when all you bastards are just silent...
I'm not talkin bout runs where you have lots of newbies and they need direction...
but, on veteran filled high dps teams...
It's really unnerving...
It's like playing video games with the children of the corn
I may have to start singing the flintstones theme song through the whole thing from now on...oh course I'll have hands free active

Do you need to concentrate on hitting the portals???

Are you guys doing laundry and just leaving your toons on auto??

Is there some secret society I am unaware of??

Or are all you lil f*****s on vent????I knew it!!!

*shrug* i'm usually pretty quiet in their as well.
Are we talking general chitchat or just using the mic for necessary communication? because i don't usually have to much to say to 11 other people i don't know or the 4 people i just casually know. generally i like to keep off the mic for instructions, questions or status updates.
also, i enjoy some of the banter from people in other guilds. A&O is pretty good for that.

and it's a pet peave of mine when you run with a player who feels the need to keep the entire party in the loop of his gaming experience. "those blades just hit me for 30!!", "i critted him good, WOW AGAINS!", "i am running him around the tree, he can't get me, oooops he got me, ok now he can't get me", "it only took me three jumps to get the puzzle, i messed it up the first time but i got it back right away. anyone need help, i am really good at these?"

LOL okay...you have a point..I hate those guys...them and the ones who need to tell you every stat on their toon and what uber gear they got.

I have you ALL trumped on that issue. I did a TR yesterday on a lowbie of mine, and omfg the leader of the group made us ROLL PLAY for 1 1/2 hours! I mean things like he felt tired from healing, so he needed to use the shrine, to making everyone stealth around. I had to move my mic away from my mouth or I would have cried laughing. He was even asking us to "imigane Gary G. in his grave laughing at us", so Yeah I dont like the Super quiet Children of Corn Shroud runs either, BUT COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS! lol, ok that is all I have for now.

If there wasn't a "roleplaying group" warning in the LFM i'd have lost my mind! Though, i think TS would be a great quest to do as a roleplayer. but i think it's too much to ask to have a group of 11 others who aren't into that, or don't have the time for it.

hahah i dropped his group the day before after pt 1 of ww on hard cuz i couldn't handle it and i was laughing in vent the whole time

I love silent groups. Nothing is more fun than when we are operating like such a well-oiled machine that I can just crank up the tunes, sit back, and breeze through.
