Default Attack progression and ranged combat

Should there be some kind of progressive attack bonus for ranged combat, like there is for melee? I know it would be tough since the ranged animation doesn't have an attack sequence as melee, but maybe some thing like a progressive bonus for each shot at the same target, as long as you are standing still. Have it cap out at the maximum progressive bonus for your bab. Maybe SOTR would allow you to retain the progression, or a portion of it, while moving.

I know most people using ranged combat don't find hitting the target the problem, it's ROF and DPS, but anything that could give it a boost would be helpful.

There already is. If one stands still then the arrows they fire will get the progressive attack bonus up to whatever their BAB allows. This was added around... module 4? module 5?

Watch your dice the next time you pull out a bow. I see it frequently with my Repeater spec'd Bard

Are you actually trying to ask why doesn't a bow get more attacks as the BAB goes up?

No, the OP wasn't aware that ranged attacks receive the same 0, 0, 5, 5, 10 bonus (while standing still) that armed gets.

Stop running around? I tease yet not tease. I don't know you play controlelr/style, but you may be slightly moving without realizing it.
