Windows 7 (64 bit) must install .net framework 1.1

I just signed up for the trial and I am currently running Windows 7 (64 bit) and I am getting a message that .net framework 1.1 has to be installed. I can't install .net 1.1 redistributed because it doesn't support 64 bit. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried Google, or the microsoft website? In the event i find errors like that or software incompatibilities they are the first two places i go, they usually have a solution and threads from other people experiencing similar issues.

To play the game you need .net1.1 and the SP1 for .net1.1. I know that it works with vista 64bit and vista and windows 7 are about the same. So, just download the vista verion and install that

I had no problems installing and playing DDO on windows 7(64 bit).... did you use the installer from the website or from cd or an older DL?

I just did the download from the site and a standard install. I also have been looking on google. Right now I am installing IIS console so I can try and switch it .net 1.1. I will look and see if there is a 64bit vista 1.1 install.
