    Default TIme to get crafting!

My Pally is offically going to be entering the shroud hopefully this weekend, time to think about items.

He is twinked out with some uber Longswords, plus Holy Sword spell, so Iwould rather him clear out some item slots. Goggles are aviable, but I am not sure what to do. He needs a Protection item.

    Any ideas?

The first item I make is usually an Existential Stalemate SP item for the +6 wisdom.

If you need a protection item you could go for a Mineral II something.

Ferrumrym, my 12/4 Paladin/Fighter intimitank has a set of greensteel goggles, a greensteel helm and a greensteel axe.

For the goggles, I went with +5 Will saves (waste...better things can be put here), Poison/Fear Immunity (so/so), and Existential Stalemate (+6 Wis, + something or other to Haggle and Diplomacy). If I were remaking these, I'd change it to something like +10 HP, +50 SP (+2 Cha skills). Big thing here is having a Wisdom item in a dead slot. I'm not going to bother putting a third tier on these for 3 reasons. First, I don't need the extra SP that badly. Second, because I have other items that are more important and don't want to spend the larges. And third, I managed to get +3 Cha skills on my DT armor recently, which would have been the main reason to put a tier 3 on these. Now I really don't need to.

For the helm I went with Mineral II (Heavy Fort, +5 Protection), and put on +30 HP and +50 SP with +2 Cha skills. I regret making this a helm, and probably would make it a necklace (so I can continue wearing the Minos Legens). The key with the 2 GS set-up, is to balance HP and SP properties across the two items in order to get your total of +6 to Cha skills (for intimidate) if you bother with that sort of thing. On a pure paladin you may not need them. In which case, I'd still recommend some SP and some HP, and the bonus abilities, but they individual tier effects are more customizable.

For the axe, I went with the ubiquitous Mineral II (Kenn, Slicing, Transmuting), with Holy, Acid Burst, and +4 AC. Very useful.
