Seriously, its becoming an issue that we arent getting the weekly previews that we were expecting. There were several benefits...
1. It seriously helped us stay occupied in game. Several of us have rolled lowbies to prepare for new builds based on the new information. Otherwise, its the same old, same old. So just a few snippets of info each week has a tangible effect in-game.
2. It kept us getting a scheduled, steady diet of info that we could digest, thus quelling some of the typical pre-mod jitters that the forums seem to get.
3. It (hopefully) allowed you Devs to get some feedback from a player perspective. I dont suggest this should completely drive design, but at least you can get a feel for "whats hot (Wiz capstone), whats not (Cleric capstone)".
4. It resolves "build paralysis" in game. If you have a 14 ranger...do you splash those next 2 levels or not? Some of that decision depends on the ranger capstone. Hmmm...might be nice to see a preview in the next 6 weeks so I dont just park the toon.
5. It just makes your customers happy.
Its Friday...we' havent had one this week (a bug fix to Minos helm, though appreciated, does not count). Last week we had one that was told to us it was a bonus due to the lack of communication on the Monday maintenance (which was quite reasonable). Not much of a bonus if it replaced the regularly scheduled preview.
You guys do a great job, its a great game, wouldnt trade it for any other, dont envy trying to communicate with we players, etc, etc. But I really am struggling with why the lack of previews all of a sudden. If anything, Id think you should be previewing more than just one capstone/pre per week. Get us excited about the mod, show us some enhancements, feats, etc that are coming. Throw us a screen shot, anything...market the mod to your existing players!
