mod 9 close? ie saw warring about toughness helm and thought....

so are we close yet .... dev warring about fix to toughness glitch w/ minos helm "sounded" urgent..... are we close days, weeks, months, or years? will there be a risa preview this mod or straight to live ? anyone know or would a dev care to comment......

btw I don't think there is anything wrong with sayin "right now it looks like x" and if something comes up a glitch a unintended effect of coding then saying "we did want to release this in x but then y happened so we are shooting for z" telling us something is better than nothing right?

I've always assumed mod.9 would be for the 3-year DDO anniversary, which would be at the end of February (hopefully at least 1 week before so it can be hotfixed if necessary) before the big anniversary event (that may not even exist, but with all this secret stuff, something may be coming ).

Here are a few informational updates....
1. There is no more Risia Preview server, as they are using it for some top secret project
2. Your x,y,z analogy might be acceptable to the majority of users but there are many trolls who will complain incessantly that they missed the launch date and now they're owed something personally. They stopped releasing information for this very reason, which in turn got complained about...so you see the dilemma

yeah I was hoping we'd be seeing something soon and the recent dev post about the minos helm is worded in such a way that to me it seems sooner than later

it's not that I tottaly disagree w/ you however these pages are not made up entirely of "trolls" and to make a policy for 100% of your customers becasue of of 5-15% of your customers are trolls is insane and not excusable ...... my own thoughts is that they have been quite bad in the past about making deadlines and they want no chatter about it...the bottom line is things do happend most people understand this HOWEVER if update's are long and few between and there is no info comming out and then the contect is bugged or broken or not liked ....well when that happens don't call a paying customer a troll for saying "hey this is unacceptable"

Darkfall Online is releasing on February 25th. Now I realize that the games are very different in playstyle, so DDO will be impacted less than most games, but odds are that they'd want to combat the possible loss of subscribers and have mod 9 out around this time... especially since it matches up with other factors like the anniversary.
