price check: greater construct bane

I was going to throw up a +1 seeker (i think +4) DwarvenAxe of GCB on the auction house last night, but recalled that GCB always seemed to go at a premium. What is a good price for this item? and of course PM me if you are interested.

Still a nice item, but probably won't sell for a premium anymore since holy now works on the portals in the Shroud.

Yeah, +1 Holy of PG (ML 6) is now equal to your item there in terms damage output (since seeker doesn't add damage due to portals being immune to crit).

I'd say that axe is worth 50K but you can probably get a bit more than that on buyout from the AH (enough to get ya yer 50K in the mailbox) if yer patient.

...but not because transmuting bypasses portal DR (because it doesn't) - but just because most constructs have some kind of DR (e.g. DR 10/adamantine)

Thats not really true. Greater bane adds +4 to damage as well, so a +1 greater bane is like a +5 holy/pure good in the portal's case. Or a +5 anarchic of pure good. Unless you have 8 str and no bard, that extra +4 damage from the bane will help bypass the portal's dr 10/-
