Hireling Problem

So, I was trying to fill in lowbie quests to get favor for my ranger and it came time to run Freshen the Air. I'm sure we all know and love that quest, so I won't go into specifics of why it didn't seem like a good plan to put up an lfm at 2pm EST on a Wednesday.

I figure, I'm level 10, it's a level 4 quest, I'll bring a hireling cleric and I'll be fine, right?

Halfway through, the cleric drops group and doesn't come back.


No really, halfway through a mission, my hireling cleric dropped group and disappeared.


She had nearly full health and most of her spell points, so I was really bummed. What a waste of my plat...

Where did she go? Why did she choose that particular time? Did something important come up?

(For those who care, yes I did file a bug report from inside the mission with a few more details.)

Goes to show you never trust an hireling cleric!

It's happened to me before, too. Only to find I accidently dismissed him. Their bar is super sensitive.

I dont mean to laugh at your misfortune, but LOL, you have to admit that its funny that even the hirelings dont like that quest

Or could it be it didnt like the way the leader was leading???

... I've always hated that quest, but to find out that someone you hired dumped you mid-quest has to make you feel, well, I don't even know what to say.

I think that you should start a new thread titled "Quests Even Hirelings Won't Run" and see what kind of feedback you get.
