Default Brainstorming: New loot for old raids

Some interesting ideas were brought up in the Abbot raid loot discussion thread, so I thought it might be fun to come up with some possible new items to add to old raid loot lists.

Below are a few ideas I've had, most of which are meant to beef up the raid loot options for monks, bards, and warforged. Feel free to tweak and critique, as well as offer your own (not just monk/bard/warforged stuff, either)!

    The Reaver's Fate

Electric Air Guitar: +4 shocking burst greatclub of screaming (+1d6 sonic damage on all attacks), +10 perform, Freebird (extends the duration of bard songs by 30%) (looks like the lute that bards play)

Monsoon Staff: +5 shocking burst quarterstaff, melee alacrity +10%

    Zawabi's Revenge

Blade of the Blood War: +5 keen silver/flametouched iron kama of lawful outsider bane, Weapon Proficiency: Kama

Eternal Scroll Case (uses quiver slot) +5 umd, Scroll Storage (stores stacks of scrolls the same way as a wide quiver), Scroll Saver (30% chance that any scroll used will not be consumed)

    The Titan Awakes

Bracers of the Titan: Force Resistance 10, Shield 3/day (CL 10)

Battlefist: +5 handwraps of force burst, exclusive race: Warforged

    The Vault of Night

Docent of Artifice: +3 docent, Repair +10, Greater Repair Lore, Greater Reconstruction VI.

Red Dragonscale: Can be added to any set of dragonscale armor using a Stone of Change to produce Red Dragonscale armor of the appropriate type. All Red Dragonscale armor include the following attributes: Greater Fire Resistance, DR 5/--, Immunity to Fear

    The Hound of Xoriat

Docent of Bodyfeeding: +5 docent, +4 protection, imbues melee weapons with the Bodyfeeder quality

Handwraps of the Diamond Path: +5 shocking burst handwraps, Enlightened Benevolence (extends the duration of finishing move buffs by 50%)

Handwraps of the Void: +5 icy burst handwraps, Enlightened Judgment (increases the damage of finishing moves by 50%)

    A Vision of Destruction

Kama of Fanaticism: +5 true law kama, Greater Devotion VI, Righteous Harvest Set Bonus (When both kamas of this set are equipped, both weapons gain the Holy quality and the user gains Greater Spell Penetration VI)

Kama of Forgiveness: +5 kama of pure good, Greater Healing Lore, Righteous Harvest Set Bonus (See above)

    Accursed Ascension

    Fist of the Righteous Reaper:
+4 holy handwraps of pure good, undead bane, Scything (when this item is equipped, the user's unarmed strikes are considered to be slashing as well as bludgeoning)

Blade of the Undying Court: +5 holyburst silver scimitar, finessable

They're fine items, sorta, except for the fact that those raids don't need more loot.

Humor me. I don't feel like getting into a debate about the basic premise, I'd just like to hear people's ideas for raid loot. Heck, you can think of it instead as raid loot you'd like to see in a new raid. Just feeling bored at work, and wanted to do some brainstorming

If they had a exchange person who will gladly take undesired raid loot and convert them into pre-shroud ingredients or draconic runes would be kind of nice.

Usually each raid has one or two desirable items (that help sustain any interest in an old raid) while everything else becomes vendor trash as loot tables scale at each level increase.

By allowing what might be considered useless raid loot to have some sort of "save you time that you would have otherwise spent farming" would give it back some value and people would run it more often.

I think it be good idea to add new raid loot in old raids. Alot of people have their item they want and won't run it anymore. This will bring them back.

I really like ideas like this. I think specialized raid loot like this would really add to the stone of change. Maybe then we would find a use for the trap the soul spell. :P

Against devils it's inferior to a mineral2 khopesh.
    Against other monsters, it's worse.

In fact, I've gotten better weapons as random loot.

The problem with it is that as an anti-devil item, it doesn't have much correlation with the traditional anti-undead (or anti-giant/dragon) emphasis of the Undying Court.

In terms of roleplaying background, the silver was meant mainly as a vampire DR beater rather than a devil one - specifically, it was a weapon forged by the Undying Court to fight Vol herself that the agents of the Abbot stole and kept in reserve. That being said, yeah, it would probably see more use against Harry and Sally :P

And I deliberately avoided making it overly powerful - heck, the only thing it has to offer that a paladin can't duplicate with a holy sword spell is the fact that it's a finessible scimitar, which I did more for flavor reasons than anything else. I wanted to spark discussion about what people would like to see in raid loot, and see what people would do to modify my ideas or offer some of their own

Cool... is the paralytic a drawback that the wearer has to deal with, or an effect that's bestowed on a target? (I'm assuming the former)

I still want an ugly stick added. It would be a quarter staff that acts like a weakening of enfeebling or wop but drain cha instead.
