Shroud Speed Record Attempt

The coming attempt on Ghallanda has inspired me to give it another go. The date will be this Saturday at 12 a.m. eastern standard time (Saturday Night-Sunday Morning). I would like to get a few different people a shot at running in it who have inquired about it, but of course have a good dps reputation such as Infidel of TA. You must have a dps build (has to be strength based unless a ranger and must be a two weapon fighter) with all the gear and be willing to be self sufficient , i.e. take care of your gh, resists, poison neutralization, etc..

Slightly different twist because I am going to try a different group then the usual. The group will be 1 bard and 11 melee. I would prefer Mavnifico or a simliar warchanter specced healing bard, but since Mavnifico is afk I will volunteer Hangover's services and bring the mana pots unless somebody has a different person to recommend for bard. If I am not running hangover I will bring blighter.

Melee 1: Wigglewonker
Melee 2: Kulgur
Melee 3: Strakeln
Melee 4: Jilleta
Melee 5: Clean?
Melee 6: Nellethiel
Melee 7: Dewd
Melee 8: Mantra
Melee 9: Xernon
Melee 10: Soulmoe
Melee 11: Urden

Edit: party set except maybe Clean, but I will get a stand in for Clean if he can't make it..

God I wish I didn't have stuff going on that night! I'd bring Pigsticker. Would be cool to do one in less than the 20 minute run I ran with you on my caster. What is the record anyway?

We did a 16 minute on normal with all chests and a 27 on elite.

It's so hard the way lag has been the past few weeks.... speed run now seems like anything under 30 minutes

We been still averaging 23 and less even with a few shrines. But definitely makes it more interesting :P

Is the the Midnight of Friday to Saturday or the Midnight of Saturday to Sunday?

If Arkat's not on timer, I'll bring him. If I can actually do Boldrin's All Monk Shroud Run on Friday morning, I'll bring Goobag instead.

15 minutes for sure.. It will be very tough to beat the normal speed shroud record.. The best possible time with the 9 melee 1 caster 1 cleric 1 bard group with nearly all rangers/barbarians as melee is probably something like 14 minutes. Twf strength based paladins might either improve the time or hurt the time it is tough to say, but if one comes on a record attempt he/she needs to have mana pots and be willing to spam the divine sacrifice on the portals. Tempest rogues can also be quite good as well..

Naw its more about part 4 and part 5 where the difficulties arise part 2 is pretty easy in comparison. In particular on a speed run making sure the songs go off yet nobody dies while they are playing because nobody heals the group at that moment and having enough healing power per second for the melee while harry is whacking on them. I have soloed healed the shroud as bard before as have other bards on Khyber.

Ranger or two should be able to handle the Elemental. Bard should only need to have to heal up the main group.
