All monk shroud?

I think this might be a lot of fun. I'm going to run this at 11 AM EST on Friday . Must have a majority of your levels as monk. Thats the only rule. They did this on another server in 3 hours, I think we can do better, lets try Please put any useful skills or assets you may have as well.

1 Whipping/ Useless , I plan on riding on the backs of the good monks (35UMD/38 Boosted /71 self buffed AC)

Lol, my monks actually pretty good ... And I know a few others that aren't horrible.. I'd quit after 3 hours let alone 5

Well, if I get some help within a week I can get my 5th level Monk-splashed Cleric WF up to level and flagged. *sigh* It appears that I have LOTS of work to do on that toon. But with the exception of actual Shroud raids (ok and anything else on a high-level ) I will be on Neplus Ultra...so take pity on me and snag me up to help me get some XP in. THEN, I'll get really violently ill and take a sick day and Shroud the all-monk disaster that is sure to be hilarious with you in the morning Boldrin!

Can you imagine the amount of yelling that will ensue as I curse out all of us non dpsers, lol. I know it will be a blast. I figure 12 monks all attacking using fists of light constantly and spamming mass cures on each other will be just as good as 3 clerics, and we all have improved evasion and an AC. I think it will actually be easy if we get decent people who know how to play a monk. I've already got my game plan Even have my true chaos greater construct bane bow with manyshot for the crystal, now I just need to buy arrows, lol.

I use a spare +2 transmuting returning throwing axe of Greater evil outsider bane, got lots of nice bows and throwers I can loan people too. I plan on making sure we all have ranged, but am hoping it doesn't come to that....... hoping, lol. You guys did a great job by that way, love the Shroud and this should be a fun way to spice it up. All bard may be the next one I do. I think all caster is doable as well.

what makes meleeing harry a pain for my monk is that the curse of healing (that normally hits me for 2 or 4 pts a shot) doesn't work on harry - normally my 73 ac (no ranger or bard in the group) means he wouldn't hit me as fast as I can self heal, but with lack of healing curse it's a pain

recommendations to the group to bring.

1. Bring lots of heal scrolls. More heal scrolls than you thought. 500 at least.
2. Everyone bring pots, lots of pots
3. Bring a transmuting bow of greater bane - or whatever your ranger uses - even without ki and without proficiency you'll be doing more dps than a shuriken, unless you have a greensteel one.

The way we did part 4 was to send only about 4-5 monks in each time (because of lag) and keep some people out just standing around, or healing the monks in the middle. We made sure we fogged Harry (with solid fog clickies, but bring CK scrolls, obscuring mist, stinking cloud etc etc if you have them). Bring strength sapping wraps to hit him with to exhaust him. We also left 1 devil alive between each round and kited him until everyone was fully healed. We had 1-2 monks per compass point so the gnolls went down as fast as possbile - no point having harry healing himself.

It took 9-10 rounds (I forget) but each time we were steadily beating him down so it was just a matter of time until he died (no mana bars to worry about running out of).

Part 5 - ideally if you have 3 high AC people then surround him - I found that when I was the only one attacking he would run around too much so I wasn't really able to get stable dps on him... 3 high ac monks up against him would be nice, especially if your UMD users have mass cure scrolls handy.

Use fogs and ck to conceal him, very useful for mitigating incoming damage.

Don't overestimate how many people you can send in during part 4 - if you send too many people in the lag will just get you killed.

Kwaiii - usfull skills = stuff dont hit me and I kill it good Tempest monk dule min2 kama's with force points. AC unbuffed 70, self buffed 79 for 4mins, 78 after that. (need more madstone booties)

TBH I'm still tryign to figure why it took them soo long, only triky part will be the crystal in part 2, I'll maby see if I can find GCB bow then I can mainshot it darn fast... any one got a spair GCB bow


P.S. I think it should be doable in under a HR with the right monks myself.
