I can't believe I missed this thread (I was also bored at work yesterday and today, and this thread would have helped).

Grats to the original group on their completion and grats to NSR for their purity. Special grats to the peacemakers - your good work has mellowed this thread in the last few pages. Perhaps some day we can have discussion on these issues without requests for bans or statutory analysis of the terms of service.

Like them or hate them, the server is richer for having the people who championed certain points in this thread. I would enjoy this game less if either was banned.

Yup, a lot of hypocrisy in this thread, I don't think any of us (including me) are sleeping on whiter than white sheets here.

I'm not going to congratulate the group for their completion, still. I'm against exploiting and that's that.

Once a group can prove, infallibly, that they've completed without exploits, I'll give them proper grats. No matter who it is.

Until then, yes, you worked hard. You did not, however, work hard enough to defeat the Asteroids.

After reading another thread here on the Sarlona forums I felt it necessary to come back to this one and extend a most sincere apology to anyone and everyone who might feel in the least bit upset or slighted by the recent comments made between Tanka, Hex, and I which seem too have been just a little too nice, a little to forgiving, and quite possibly killed the vehement and most entertaining flaming that was transpiring on in this thread.

I will do my utmost to ensure that in the future any such potential acts of reconciliation will be handled off the forums and in private so as not to disturb the sanctity of such threads.
