1. name them with their trait (i.e. what they do on the armor) so we can trade them in the chest.

2. make them unbound so we can trade them later.

I can only speak for Argonnessen, but even now it takes longer and longer for groups to fill up if you want to run refugee-quests.
I have seen many peple get annoyed when crafting their 20-something-th eldritch/tempest rune and then being as close to their searched-for armor attribute than the day they set foot into the refugee.
When you run the Shroud for your crafting, you at least know every run brings you closer to your destiny, even if that last sulforous stone didnt drop. You got other stuff you can use on your other characters, or plainlysell on the AH.
This is the main difference between Shroud and refugee crafting, and thats why the refugee is getting emptier and emptier every day. I find that saddening.

What I'd like is each character to "remember" what runes he has already discovered (i.e. used in an eldritch device), so whenever you see it again you are told what effect it is.
