easy enough to run the quest until you get one .. my sorc solos it sometimes when I get bored -- she started soloing it at lvl11.

just run Church and the cult (house P lvl 9 quest) very easy to farm with a caster or cleric, for better odds grab a few friends and hit it

I still use this bow at 15 It is my all-purpose bow. It rocks with bloodstone. gunna rock even more with Kensai 3.

exactly. no reason to pay money for this weapon. bows r cheap. the silver bow is weaksauce anyway. i think cleavon has one. im pretty sure he keeps it next to his collection of rr WF proof agains poison items and Kai'teng Feruza minis.

i also have some bows that are taking up space. i will gladly send then your way if u like. one is decent against Harry (better than the silver bow anyway.)

The silver bow is a very nice bow. Its amazing to me that it is only a level 6 wepaon that still has tremendous value at end game. The level of thebow might be a bit to low but hey who am I to complain, I play a pure ranger and take full advantage of this bow.

The silver bow has a very nice crit range and when you take improved critical range it is the best critical range bow in the game. It is very valuable on any undead (except skeletons) and of course we all know it is very good against the Pt Fiend in the shroud.

I would not by a silver bow if I were you they actually drop fairly frequecntly in the quest "Church of the Cult". I would wager if you range that quest 5 times on any difficulty you would get at least 1 silver bow with a good chance to get 2. I pulled silver bows out of that quest once on two succesive runs.
