If you don't already have a WoP repeater, and you have your feats built for ranged already, might give it a go first.
I have a couple regular crossbows on my repeater rogue for the spots I don't have uber5™s of yet. Can still throw quite a few bolts downrange (when not ammo-bugged).

Her build was too tight for rapid reload. But she does have IC:Ranged... I use a +3 Crippling Light Repeater of Puncturing with her right now. So it's probably not going to be a help for her.
