Supreme Armor Mastery.

All armor is treated as one level lighter than its current type. For example Heavy, is medium, medium is light.

Dwarves receive an additional stacking +1 max dex to shields and armor.

Besides I am pretty sure I am going to splash 1 Drow on my Dwarf to get +1 to damage with rapiers...

Wouldn't this just be a ML 20 racial enhancement? You don't have to call it a capstone enhancement to have it at level 20, and have a nice ability.

I actually wasn't planning on having racial capstones, though level 20 non-capstone enhancements certainly exist. (Elven Arcane Archer V or Cleric/Paladin Divine Might IV, for instance.)

If an enhancement is a capstone, it can be a bit more powerful as they're exclusive.

I'm not saying there will be any in the immediate future, or that they'll be like the suggestion, but I found the idea interesting.

This would mean racial capstone would be exclusive between themselves (ie you can only pick one of these two capstones) or between class and racial capstone?

Oh, and by the way, assuming we one get epic levels, would capstone be a reward for staying pure beyond level 20 or a reward for reaching level 20 of a certain class?

Just make sure racial capstones are only available to pure races. Players already get enough benefit from having a splash of elf here, or a dash of halfling there.

If I stick to pure dwarf, I'd be ****ed to see some jerk with a Dwarf 17 / Elf 3 build get to have the capstone too.

I think the point of racial capstones is not as a reward for staying "pure race" not that it's impossible not to, but it's to accentuate the difference between the races, and give a bonus to level 20. The problem with this is it only gives a bonus to one kind of dwarf character, which is bad for any other kind of character. One solution to keep this or something like, is to provide multiple different racial capstones. Such as for dwarves on to give better axe damage for dps, or more hp for anyone, something along the lines of dwarven faith for pallies/clerics, etc.
