Looking on the AH today and noticed an influx of w/p daggers. So you all believe the w/p nerf. So this is your last attempt to charge an outrages price for some poor soul who doesn’t read the forums.

Good luck getting your price on the AH. Most people with that kind of Plat probably are speculating right along with ya.

Four in two days. The pick sold because it was priced at 500k buyout.

I just think its funny how people try to make some plat when they think its going to get nerfed.

For example - I heard my house is going to be categorized in a flood zone. This is going to devalue my house by half. So I put it on the market and hope it sells before I get the "shaft".

This post was is because I am bored and felt like pointing the obvious: people are selfish in nature.

/flashback Remember when people were putting the gem (bloodstone) and the simple quiver on the ah for as much plat as the real thing. It just makes me smile.

Nothing makes people smile bigger in game then when we post something for a ridicules price and it sells Something about *^%* someone over makes us feel good inside.

Lots of posts on w/p but not a peep from the devs. Who knows what will happen. You can be sure that lots of higher end items will start appearing on the AH this month and next. If a new mod is coming up with level 20 quests, many of your uber weapons will become average.

Better start selling you firestorm greaves before they get nerfed in the next mod. I will buy one or two

I dont necessarily believe this is true. I have sold 3 W/P long/short bows in the past year on the AH. All were posted for 300k start and 500-600k plat buyout.

I just posted another one, and had it sell in 1 day.

SOME may see the doomsday posts and prepare for the worst, but some of us honestly dont need the items and put them up for "reasonable" prices (or so it seems with how quick they usually sell).

I know 2 trades recently where the people were using a +1 W/P rapier, and pulled a +2 and a +3. . .Also know someone who was using daggers and pulled a Rapier, so got rid of one of his daggers.

I also know people that use their Min 2 set instead of w/p for the majority of what they run, so they've trades off the W/P. .

Perhaps, this is why some servers were seeing an influx of trades on their forums? ( not talking about the barrage since the rumour started)

Anyway--from what I have read, it is a few people that are informing us of the upcoming nerf, I have not read anything specific from a Dev.

My rapier is up for sale because its time to sell, not because of the new mod coming up. I still wield W/p on my dex build. I have yet to hear of any release date, which makes me think the new mod is still a little ways away. I am not looking for 100 larges, or goobs of plat for my weapon like some i have seen. I am not out anything if it doesn't sell, i didn't put up anything to get it, except about 55 min a shroud pug, so if i am not offered what i want, i will keep it, no biggie.

Personally i think its all a little silly but that's just me

Maybe there is always 4 w/p's on the ah. I must have missed them before. I have seen them on but not 4 at a time. If you check the forums there is a lot of people (across the servers) selling their w/p stuff.

My post was simply an observation. People are greedy by nature. I for one will not be giving my lrgs for any w/p until I know for sure (unless its a rapier and its a steal).

Some rumors are merely rumors. Some rumors are leaks that get spread. Most of the time you can tell the difference.

No, not at all, i dont sell w/p daggers on the AH And your OP did say daggers, i am fresh out.

Many people are greedy, and lazy too. I did not think you were referring to me in any way shape or form. I was simply illustrating to the other posters that not everyone is looking to exploit a situation. I do not have any inside information, I have the same doomsday threads to draw conclusions from as the next guy, however, this weapon was sitting in the bank, so i decided to offer it up and see what i could get, as of yet, I have not received an offer I want to accept, so as of now, its still sitting in the bank. The bodyfeeder of puncturing, and w/p rapiers are still in my rogs hands con'ing things to death most places he goes.
