FYI, I believe that the current trade value of the Blue Scales is approximately the same as the value of Large Devil Scales. You might even expect to give 2 Devil Scales for the Blue Scale

My Large Scale drop rate has been exceptional lately. Even when it wasn't, however, it was way better than my drop rate on Blue Scales ever was.

Blue Scales are probably now one of the biggest PITA items to get.

Well since I traded (1) devil - (8) Blue's last week.... I think the going rate is a bit better than 1-1.

I guess it just comes down to what your priorities are.

Well, if you go buy AH pricing (looking for lowest BO), you can get a Blue for 70kp BO and a Lrg scale the cheapest I could find was 320Kp BO so I think it's probably at least 3:1 if not more. Personally I don't believe in the auction house and I think a fair price is 2b:1s. Just my .02. I don't think anyone should have to pay 2 lrg scales for a blue. That's just plain mean.

These forums have gone down hill on people trying to pull one over on others. I'm not against a good deal (priorities are all different), but blatant ripping off is a great show of character.

Hmm just the other day you told me "traded"..........Implying you had no Blue Dragon scales.

I think the large devil scale is worth more than a blue dragon scale somewhere between 2 and 6 blues for 1 lg devil scale seems fair.

Ppl are after Shroud ingredients and DT armor. No one runs the Tor anymore LFMs, if you see them, usually go unfilled. I can't find Blue scales on the AH. Hopefully you have better luck than I did getting your trade. I've had no luck trading and can't find ppl willing to run the Tor.

BTW the drop rate on scales sux bad. I got 1 scale from three runs (9 chests total) that is crazy. At this rate I would need to run the Tor 216 more times just to get 25 dragon scales not 25 of one particular color.

I told you the 19 I wasnt going to use were traded....not the 2 full sets in the bank. BTW, my tor lfm filled in about 2 minutes last night and I pulled one of each color in the 3 chests...sorry.

I haven't looked lately because I don't need them, but if you can buy 25 Blue Scales on the AH for 1,750,000 plat (70k plat per) then I'd say that's a heck of a deal for (IMHO) the most useful caster / cleric armor in the game. It's not hard to Haggle that much in a couple weeks just doing Shroud / Hound / VoD / misc loot runs and selling the trash.

That's WAY less mind numbing than running the Tor a hundred times for a chance at 25 Scales (you *might* get 25 Blue Scales in 100 runs). In my latest 6 or 7 runs, I've seen exactly 1 Blue scale drop...for all 6 people...that's 1 out of 36 chests....bad stretch perhaps but sick nonetheless...

I wish they would put a guaranteed Dragon scale drop in each of those chests nowadays....

I totally agree with you. I for one hate to grind... and don't do it. TOR is the biggest Grind in game (imo). Heck on average I dont even run the Shroud more than twice a week. A Good week is 5 times across all my Toons....
