the logic train has left the building and it is impossible to know any of the beliefs you have presented as fact.
As for glib, again (I'll type slow this time), accusing your writing of being flowerly has nothing to do with the definition of glib you presented. Nobody suggested you were insincere. Nobody suggested that you only have a superficial view. And lastly, nobody suggested that you are being deceitful.

The only accusation (as far as your writing) has been that whatever thoughts you're trying to communicate become lost as you try way too hard to come off as intelligent by using terms that are, at best, not suitable for an informal forum.

    Writing lesson over.

last i checked it was off topic which usually denotes a certain ambiguity of allowed subject matter and language use.

    Fine.

Then keep it up. I'm sure you're very comfortable with people ignoring your thoughts and simply thinking that you're a tool whenever you submit a post.

think of it as a language barrier that prevents me from having to read reasoned rejoinder from those without requisite understanding of the OP. fending off quibbles such as these is more suitable a reply for me to bestow upon such caliber people.

See, that's where you're mistaken. The fact you can sit there and believe that it acts as a barrier, that somehow intelligent people will ignore your over complicated terms and treat them as ordinary statements, shows how wrong you are.

If you believe intelligent people speak/write like that informally, then you are extremely naive. That's why I said I hope you're extremely young. This sort of naivete is reserved for the very young, or the extremely socially awkward.

let us assume all of this is naivety and that i am extremely socially awkward and that all of this is a charade that has been reserved for someone such as myself. why are you posting about it?

You know what's my biggest problem with the OP? It's nothing but non-sequiturs, personal preferences, generalizations subjective experience and condescension.

So you can improve your posts. That way, people won't be as hostile in their responses to your threads.

here's an idea, if you don't like it don't bother with it.

otherwise someone might assume it's some kind of naivety that drives you to quibble about language usage with people you obviously are more experienced and socially adept than. /sarcasm off

or, more pertinently, was an even more pronounced dink in prior months which several people cannot find it in their blessed little hearts to forgive.

As to the past, I don't know what that's all about, I won't comment because I don't know of the situation.

    As for VOD, yw.

now that we all know what is being discussed, allow me to demonstrate through experiential observation in ddo groups.
mr. moral, as he is known, believes morals are absolute in nature even though this can be disproved easily through simple ontology. his idea of "good" is subjective as follows abstract sets of arbitrary criteria of various morals as defined by his specific beliefs, whatever those may be. this kind of "good" varies and seems to, in the world of ddo, almost always mean the person is objectively bad at the game.
yes, i know, it doesn't mean that someone has to be objectively bad at the game if their primary focus is their role playing or their "good nature" but it seems that the majority of people who value the subjective too much in game are compensating for being incapable of objectively good game play.
i have met some unsavory folks, who will remain unnamed, who are great players on the other hand. ultimately, i would rather group with the unsavory person who doesn't mess up my run than someone who tries to appeal to some kind of pathos in lieu of ability. this appeal to pathos as opposed to just shutting up and rolling a better toon has to go, in my opinion. you can be a nice person all day but it doesn't help me get the loot, yeaux.
    Translation;
Me don't care about roleplay. Me not like you. Me have simple definition of fun.Me want LOOT to be uber very quickly. If you don't know what to do is simple. Cleric run fast and heal me. Caster run fast and stun mobs. Me run fast and kill mobs. When get boss chest, me get all loot me want and you can squable over rest.
