Idea... add guild only flag on AH

It's a good idea ... especially since it is in LTRO apparently and could possibly be ported over, perhaps lessening dev time.

Having this until guild banks come would be a time saver and an efficient use of my time as a player - I could post items without work, while I am thinking about it, without having to tab out of DDO, and without having to clog guild chat or people with tells.

Instead of Guild only listings, since they are designing guild banks sometime, how about just a filter that you can turn on that just shows auction listings of your guildmates. Then you can buy stuff and know the money is going to a buddy.

Umm guild housing they said sometime they have never said guild banks although would be nice only people who hve ever said guild banks are people like us

In Lord of the Rings Online you are able to post items on the Auction House for Kinship (Guilds in LotRO) only to bid on. Can set prices however you want.


The Auction House also has full searching functionality.

You know what they also have a Guild Bank of Sorts in LotRO...

It is a housing container in the Guild House that can be set up to allow permission for Kinship Members to be able to put items in and take items out. (Personal Housing has the same features for shared access across all toons on an account).

I seem to recall Kate Piaz say these were coming to DDO....

Why would I pay an AH listing fee, when I can just trade it to my guildie?
Why would I charge a guildie for an item I have no intention of using?

So I call shenanigans on your claim of being put upon by having to post something on your guild website.

Heck, if you have the time to read this post here by me and reply to it, I think you'd have enough time to post an item on your guild site for giveaway.

the obvious response is:

"when i'm unable to play (work, school, not at home), i have plenty of time to post/read this stuff... i'm not about to dig into my game time to document my inventory... or even think about the forums that matter"

Besides, I'm not the only person we are talking about here... it also applies to people without 11 pages of forum posts.

Besides, guild bank would be much easier and other games have them, so the coding is possible.

LOTRO has the guild banks in a limited way in housing...which we don't have...so no way to impliment that this point.

LOTRO has the coding for the AH solution in its AH, and given the functional similarities there is more likihood of a port being possible there.

What kills me is that obviously what I'm bithcing and monaing about was already done...

Shoulda looked at LOTRO... but the movie turned me off cause Frodo is gay.
