Default This is DDO not WOW

I have been playing since this was beta. I have tried WOW and I love the DnD feel to this game. This game is starting to look more and more like WOW there are now flying ships, crafting and now with the new class there will be an introduction to what looks to be guns.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is fantasy but not WOW! The game is starting to look more like a clone of Warcraft. I dont understand why DDO seems to compete with WOW. I dont want to mix my DnD with a final fantasy/wild west theme.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE GAME THAT I LOVE SO MUCH?

Clearly you have never played a table top D&D game in the Eberron campaign setting. DDO is not a clone of WoW, WoW is a clone of Eberron. Eberron came first and it always looked like this, you're use to the more traditional Greyhawk setting used in the core books. You should chagne your expectations as this is NOT core D&D, and it never claimed to be. What there doing is very by the book, thematically at least, if not mechanically.

Eternium (Art 18), Tatooine (Bard 19), Technodrome (Wiz 18 / Rog 2), Thanigar (Brb 14)

Truth right there. Not only that, but if you look at some of the older (pre 3.5) D&D related books, you'll also find non-Eberron settings that involved firearms, and even cybernetic limb replacement. (Check the old Elves handbook for verification on that one). Sure, it was 'magic', but it was there. Nothing here is earth-shatteringly off the wall when it comes to such a rich, varied, and historied mythos that is the world(s) of [A]D&D.

1Cleric, 1 Bard, 3 Artificers, 1 Necro, Spam pets, Create undead, Mass Bears+Bulls, Rage, Haste, Mass Heals, Go crazy. 200 misadventure kills. i'd like to see that

theres really no pet master class eh?...
Necros and Clerics arnt the best cuz of no songs
Bards arnt the best since he cant summon two and is restricted.
Artificers can create them, but cant heal them.
A rogue is basically, "Look at me or die."

Since when can't artificers heal their construct pets? They get the repair line in PnP. I can't see skipping that on a pet class.
