Cleaning up old connection

Was in group with a few guild members, complete with a hireling. Unfortunately it appears it was not dismissed and thus when we tried to load out, we became stuck. Now every time restarting the client it becomes stuck at the load screen with the words "Cleaning up old connection"

Rebooting the program does nothing. Rebooting the computer does nothing.

Quick resolve on this issue would be appreciated.

Well, if you wanted quicker, you could have done a quick search on the forums and you would have found your answer.

But, Ill do the hard work for ya and help ya out.

You need to go onto another Server and to either make a new toon if you dont have one or log into a toon.

Submit a ticket and wait for a GM

Talk to the GM and let them know Server name, Toon name, and cleaning up old connections.

Then try to log back in. you still cant give it some time, just let it sit there and it will finally load you in.
