Anything is appreciated. I don't use a headset, but instead a stand alone mic and speakers, and always use push to talk.
I have always used the same mic until recently. Consistently, about half of the gaming population can hear me fine, and the other half says I am too soft / can't hear me at all unless I shout - if then. All of my in game settings are for max volume, gain, etc. All of my out of game settings are also for max volume.
So, since I was out buying PC equipment anyways, I figured - since everything is maxed - it is probably a hardware issue. Bought the most expensive mic there was (not saying that makes it better, but whatever, just wanted the problem fixed). Now, the problem is if anything worse. With everything maxed, people STILL have trouble hearing me; but the new mic is picking up my speaker volume as well, causing even more sound issues for those trying to hear me (because now they hear me swing my weapons, etc.)
Any help is greatly appreciated, and please realize I am completely computer illiterate with any explanations or suggestions
