Came back to game about a month ago and will be leaving in less than 3 weeks. real pvp... I will more than likely come back off and on, not that it matters to anyone.
That aside.... I came back to this game for the reason that it was actually fun to play.... This is the problem, it is fun to play but there are some people that play in a beyond bad mood and still use voice chat.
I was recently in a shroud where a guy was yelling and swearing in voice because someone stepped on his puzzle. People do not read text or read it correctly. following reinactment is true.

Elladaan: I"ll give the orders around here. ( then mumbles in voice for the next 3min. everyone in his guild //the entire party, sits there and just wonders what the hell just happened) I'm sorry elladaan for informing people we were at the ent... then again the relish is all mine.....
I didn't know informing people that are new to the quest that we are at the entrance was orders.... should of let them give more mass buffs.... And yes you are being anal about it, it was the quest ent not actual orders.... No, I will not blow a stack of heal scrolls and 2 mana pots so you can get your completion after that comment.

Mature adventurers are far from mature to the point of mumbling, joining and leaving, refusing to let a player join. talking trash then copy pasting the reply they got after baiting the person. kally and his cronies basically. guy joins my delera's then realises I am zantel and leaves the group without saying anything. (might also be due to his kill count which amounted to 7).... Or maybe he wanted to relish the mage armor he got from house p.... It didn't do anything because he never even got attacked by a wraith... whimps in mature adventurers are not even mature enough to say thier insults at normal volume. And yes I can actually make a dwarf.

seriously it depends on the situation. if the cleric was there first, you jolly well wait for the cleric to finish then you hump the tree. if was during the lieutenant fights, you in tree means no dps means get the f out of the tree. if you were there first, you might want to let the cleric get the sp before you becoz the cleric is going to need the sp for healing. it all boils down to priority. in all the runs that i lead, the HEALERS get the priority for mana refill. my aim is to make it as cheap for the healers as possible. rest of the players are not going to spend as much as they will

I don't disagree with any of that. Being SCREAMED at is what I was pointing out. Just saying that some people need to relax, whether they are right or not.

Not that it matters, but it was before the lieutenants were pulled. I was there first, and I needed about 30 seconds to fill up my bar, and then I would have been on my merry way. I did nothing that justified being treated like that.

ummm...for spells or something.

Maybe this happened many moons ago on my first ever shroud run.

Maybe I had a cure spell loaded up and used all of my little bit of mana to heal myself while fighting orthons because our cleric was looking for a tree to hug.

Or maybe I didn't shrine after part one and people wanted me to pass out fom and bark and such.

Or maybe I like casting spike growth and getting down on my weed carpet.

Who knows? I don't recall.

Well i may be wrong in my approach, but usually the bloke what is leading is the one that calls the shots unless they are really screwing up, or ask someone else to lead. Neither seems to have happened in this instance.

Oh and if you were using the same toon in deleras as you did in the shroud, i would hardly call steamrolling deleras an achievement to brag about

I wasnt there, so i dont know all that went on, but just the general nature of you post would suggest that you are somewhat lacking in the maturity level that you are calling someone else on

Additionally to call an entire guilds maturity into question based on some individuals is a pretty big call mate, and can open you up for more grief, but then again judging by your post, grief is exactly what you are trying to achieve. There are different ways to approach the situation, the manner you have utilised is IMHO the least diffusive way of getting your point across and designed to inflame things.

Wait...are you the cleric that dropped just before we started VOD? I'm not sure what your issue was, but that quest ran like clockwork.

I think you are confusing something Elladan said to one of his other guildmembers, as DWG comprised over 1/2 of the group. Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions and ask for clarification before bailing on the group.

I'm not a member of that guild (Elmon - Lvl 16 Wizard - Malevolent Society) and got picked up for the ride. All I remember is DWG being very patient and answering all my first timer questions about VOD.

I was in the VoD raid the OP is referring to and the only grumpy person in the party was him.

Elladaan was leading the raid - sometimes his mic gets a little staticky, and as the OP was saying to the new casters, "Don't buff, we're at the entrance," Elladaan said, "I'm going to shrine and give the order," meaning that people are gonna be buffing inside in a certain order (i.e. tanks get Heroes Feast, then rest, etc.). Ella is a fellow officer of mine and he's always big on explaining what's gonna go down, especially to those who are first timers, and that's exactly what he was doing. Ella then went silent for a couple minutes as he was disconnecting. In the meantime, the OP is in party chat saying, "OMG I was only telling them not to buff, are you that anal?" Then "You are so anal I can't even believe it" then "I'm dropping, I can't deal with someone this anal." So, we're at the quest entrance and a cleric drops. Lovely.

Ella then came back from d/c'ing and said, "Who left?" We then relate the story to him and he was totally in the dark about what had gone down and then explained that he was obviously misunderstood. But the OP would never know that because he didn't stick around to hear an explanation or consider that he heard incorrectly. Instead, he decided that Ella was "OMGZ ANAL!!11eleventy" and ditched out.

We all recalled, grabbed a new perfectly pleasant and ungrumpified person and completed and enjoyed our cheddar.

And hello, haven't you guys seen the super awesome teleporting portal in the Shroud that takes you to Delera's?? You know, since Delera's is super tough and you need a lvl 16 raid party to complete.
