. . . and learned quickly that the Extend metamagic feat does NOT affect how long summoned creatures stick around. This SO throws a wrench into my planned build (at least for soloing these low levels).

Summons are nice to distract mobs for a little bit..

Charm and Hypo are beter soloer spells.

Or get yerself a WF Hirling. They last Way longer than most summons.....

Extend does work on CHarm.. I've never bothered with the incredibly squish scorpion though so I have noreference...

You can also charm multiple mobs though.. Having 3-4 Kobolds do your bidding is much better than 1 scorpion.

and when they break, You just Charm more....
