I dislike rangers. Never have liked them doubt i ever will. BUT.. i think alot of people are gonna be miffed when this flavour of the month class gets altered.

I suggest for turbines own benefit they release the tempest line and capstone. With the last mod not being played much most are rolling new toons and a large amount of them are going for these tempest/x. I have a feeling theres gonna be alot of unhappy peeps either way but its FAR better to get it out of the way now as opposed to later so people put less time and work into their characters.

The tempest crit range 2 folk are pretty much done now for top end dps. Dont make the same mistake by limiting the info so people work for 3-4 months before the next mod drops to see there character not perform to there expectations.

This does not concern me - i dont have any rangers and doubt i will - but i see most of the low level melees running around with ranger levels in them.

I think they're reserving the tempest enhancements (read 'nuking of the tempest ranger') changes to 15 minutes prior to launch of the new mod. If they release it any earlier, those who splashed 6 levels of ranger may storm Turbine HQ with pitchforks and they'll never get the mod released.

Who says they will not give rangers crit range +2 vs. favored enemies? Everybody assumes that rangers will be getting nerfed, but what if they get some love instead. Heck Nick you just might have to roll up a ranger then...

tempest may get hit, but it wont be that bad, would a change to 5/10/15 % speed be that horrible?

remaining centered to get the wisdom bonus would be a larger nerf. Forcing people to give up puncturing weapons on those builds to retain high AC, and losing DPS by going to a 20/x2 weapon.
