Cleaning up old connection

After waiting several minutes for House D to load after finishing out of a Depths quest I hit CTRL+ALT+Delete to close the game. When I try to log back in I get stuck on Cleaning up old connection...

The character was Nock on Thelanis. I'm able to log in to Sarlona with no problems

Got load screen locked, closed out client. Restarted. Now stuck on Cleaning up old Connections. Third time tried to reset client. Even restarted computer.

FYI.

Edit: kicked the tires and i'm in now.

This has happened to me as well as a few other guild memebrs when we are going through WW and going from WW1 to WW2 or WW3 to WW4. The loading screen between transitions just gets stuck and there is no way to fix it that I can find. Waiting does not help (15 min max).

Issues here tonight too on Thelanius. It takes forever to cleanup the old connections and get stuck almost everytime in the load screen of each instance.

Yep I'm cleaning up connection right now and it is happening way too much. Waiting does fix it, it just takes forever and is really starting to **** me off.

Did you guys have hirelings with you when it does it? I run with a friend and it seems we only get this when we both have hirelings with us.

yes it has happened to me about 6 times now and we have had hirelings in the grp. Seems to effect the grp member that does not have the hireling also. What a pain this has been.
