can drow and maybe elves get darkvision for those very dark quests, one comes to mind, rainbow. just give it a shadow walk effect just make it a bit more clearer, but able to see long distances and such.

I'll support the change to give Drow darkvision only if they suffer penalties to seeing in bright light.

I'll support the change if every single quest out there gets the rainbow-like effect, and requires you to carry torches or have infra vision
