How to get off Korthos island?

I just started a new toon (haven't done one in months). Is there anyway to get off this island without doing all the quests? I just want to mail him some gear and pots

If you didn't choose to skip the tutorial at the beginning(don't think you can until one character has been through it though) then you're stuck on the island until you finish Misery's Peak.

If you have never done Korthos Island, you must go through the tutorial, lead up quests, and complete Misery's Peak. Once you have completed it, you can skip the island whole cloth with any new characters you create afterward.

I just rolled a new toon 2 nights ago. I couldn't get off the d*amn island either. I like you, hadn't rolled a toon in about five months. I actually did every quest out there to elite for the heck of it. So I was now ready to leave the island, but couldn't.

I'm known for not reading the quest advancements. Thus I missed being told to talk to the Capt. off to the side of the docks. I finally figured out how to talk to him. After I talked to him I went back to the guy on the dock and still couldn't leave. Took like 5 minutes to figure out I had to talk to the Capt. a second time. So FYI talk to the Capt. 2X after you do Miseries Peak.
