    Default Consumer watch: Planar Gird

It has been observed that certain groups of players have turned to the planar gird market post Boots of the Innocents price crash. Prices for planar girds have risen sharply not from demand but from an attempt to corner this commodity on argo.

I pass on a warning to all to resist purchasing a planar gird at ridiculous prices currently asked for on the AH.

Plat farmers have always been a nuisance in that regard.
Demand has indeed risen as well, with the influx of characters rolled with the new slot available in Mod 8.

That being said, I concur - run Xorian. Girdes are way to easy to farm to pay anything over 100-150K plat for.

    Merry Christmas!

In other markets there was a moderately influx of bloodstones that investors jump on this week. Price ranged from 320 K to 430 K as investors moved on 3 to 4 of them in AH markets since they will tradisonaly sell for 1 mill (700K) after there AH commisions and 1 week to 2 weeks of posting time.

On the monthly chart W/P rapiors holded strong after the bulls rallied when the fed released a major raise ( cut rates) in supply by introducing 3 on the AH this month. All 3 went for 2.1 million. Investors that got in raised there cups in celebration.

    In other news overveiws
Docect of Definance up a point and 1/3
    Spectral gloves drop 1.5 points
and Royal gaurd mask up almost 2 points and 1.93

    Default Plat Farmers

I've noticed this trend too. Heres what i think is happening

Some one bought out all the Planar Girds on the market for 1-2 mil gold then reposted them and the stock they had saved all at once on the AH for 6-8 mil gold per Gird making it seem like the demand had gone up.

Over the next week They will keep reposting them at slightly lower prices until the market evens back out and they do it again.

I seem to have noticed the same thing happening with other named items as well. Boots of the innocent, spectral gloves etc. Seems like anytime there are 8-10 of an item for sale the price is through the **** roof. I'm fairly certain this is a money making tactic by the plat farmers.

    Just my 2 copper pieces.
