    Default Critique and make improvements on my build, please.

    Warforged, Wizard 12, Fighter 4.

    16 STR
    10 DEX (14 with 32 point build)
    16 CON
    16 INT
    6 WIS
    6 CHA


    Feats:
    Adamantine Body
    Spell penetration
    Greater Spell penetration
    Extend
    Toughness
    Heighten
    WF: Slashing
    Power Attack
    Two-Handed Fighting
    Imp. T-H Fighting
    Quicken Spell
    Spell Focus: <Unsure>

    Enhancements are going to be broken down later, I'll most likely take Kensai 1 when Mod 9 drops or another PrE depending on what the others are and how they'll fit in with the build.

    Spells are mostly going to be AoE spells, with buffs, and a few lightning bolts, fire walls, chain lightning and fireballs thrown in for good measure.

    I'm thinking tensers transformation obviously, and things like stone skin, globe of invulnerability, fire shield, and solid fog. Greater heroism, and reconstruct as well.

    Any flaws you guys see in the build?

    Just be aware that unless you play with people who know you (and want you in), it's the kind of build that may have trouble getting in groups.

    If your in a solid guild and are an above average gamer, You'll be fine with that build....

    Otherwise, You'll be soloing a lot.

    From someone with a rogue3/wizard13 drow battlemage who uses tensers constantly, and a 2pal/2monk/12sorc forged who uses divine power clickies and quickened reconstructs, don't take tensers if you don't have enough defense to last the spell duration without dying. Even with the docent of defiance, 30+ saves, evasion, and forged immunities, I still would never tenser on my sorc.

    Addy body is going to have a lot of spell failure. Spell pen is iffy, especially if you go 6 fighter later.

    2rogue or monk, 6 fighter, 12 wizard would do well, taking insightful reflexes and leaving dex low. I will see if I can rework the build in my flavor and see how you like it in a bit.

    Base: thf, ithf, gthf, mt, imt, insightful reflexes, empower
    Fighter: wf slashing, imp crit slashing, weapon spec slashing
    Monk: toughness, power attack
    Wizard: extend, quicken, maximize

    Adamantine body changes to a hinderance more and more the more levels you get.

    AC will work less and less on this build, while arcane spell failure will continue to cost you time&SP.

    I´d get rtid of it between level 6 to 9.

    He's not my first arcane fighter, I had one pre mod 3, he was fun, but had a lot of compromises to work around the game at the time, which is why the re-roll.

    But then on the latest arcane soldier I had, he was a paladin sorc, who had LoH's to combat blade sworn, and tensers casting lockout. Thanks for the feedback by the way.

    Spell penetration is going to be iffy until I find a rare, if it even drops, greater spell pen two-hander. His DC's aren't going to be the greatest either, but I figure he'll be about where a about a Warforged Sorc with his DC's with all but one of his level ups going in to INT, he's just lacking in spell penetration. And there's not a lot of spells I have in mind that would interact with spell resistance.

    While I do like the monk on your build, I'm just not sure, evasion and two feats are worth sacrificing even more of my spell DC's.

    The two-handed fighting feats are for the warforged enhancements when they drop.


    And I think adamantine body is more for flavor, I'm not sold on it, I do like it on my paladin/sorc I think I like the concept of maxed out jump/tumble/balance in adamantine. We'll see, I may go naked later on once I get stone skin, right now he's in mithral, and I can live with that ASF at 10% in his low levels, in the upper levels he'll have more spell points so it won't be too much of an issue.
