Default looking for advanced player input on build

Basically the two builds are just solid dps along with being able to handle traps with
+15 items I have all of them. the +2 cha tome is just gravy looted it and I don't need it. the wf version has 50 ac self buffed no uncanny no nothing just reg bark potion , haste potion, and one tier 3 greensteel weap. same deal on dorf apart from his ac is 48when not fighting giants ect. these builds are designed for max dmg output on bosses due to the insane hp they are starting to get. missing the feat favored enemy elemental for lvl 15 dorf version

why take kopesh on a dwarf when you can spend ap into daxe attack and dmg and equal pretty much the same as a kopesh.... waste of a feat tbh. Why favored enemy elementals.... those are situational monsters a better choice would be either undead or giants since they are spread around in the game a lot more then ele's

Why khopesh on a dwarf though?

Try doing something like this for level progression.

    1 Rogue
    2 Ranger
    3 Ranger
    4 Rogue
    5 Ranger
    6 Ranger
    7 Ranger
    8 Ranger
    9 Monk
    10-20 Rogue
    Khyber Server - Lava Divers
Horrik Took - Forever Halfling on Druid Life
    Alicaryn - Bard

couple things. Taking tempest and not taking greater twf is sort of self defeating. 10% faster attack speed and losing over 10% of your swings, if anything id drop OSTWF to get it.

But that brings me to my second point, Str based rogues sometimes have a harder timer hitting on a 2+ as compared to dex based, and with losing a possible 7-9 attack (5 from power attack and -2 or 4 from TWF (depending on if you keep OSTWF), you might find you have more trouble then most. Look at it this way, if your sneak does 50 damage, every miss due to PA attack being on has to be made up by 10 hits following. That means that if you hit on a 2+ with PA off, you have to hit with a 4+ with it on to just break even.

3rd point, if your taking a lvl of monk theres no reason to not spend 1 ap to get 2.5% stacking haste when using monk weapons, which plays very well into a rogues hand since damage comes from sneak and the more sneaks per second the better. No its more DPS then the crits of khopesh with imp slash and what not, but it IS more vorpals with some vorpal kamas.

4th point and by far the most important, MAX SUBTLE BACKSTABBING (and then turn it on whenever you log in). What makes rogues special is their ability to do high amounts of damage without getting agro off the main tank, and 2 ranks of subtle backstabbings not gonna do it.

This character would be all around better as a Dex-based Halfling. Halfling Snk Atk enhancements mean more damage per hit, Halfling Dex enhancements mean higher Dex for more AC and to hit, higher to hit means Sneak Atks hit more often, higher AC means get hit less, higher Dex also means getting Grtr TWF without a +3 Dex tome.

Starting with an 18 Str on a character that needs as many other ability scores to be effective is a waste.

    Halfling

    Str 12 (+1 tome for Pwr Atk + 5 item) = 20
    Dex 18 (+2 Halfling + 2 Rog + 4 level up + 2 tome + 6 item) = 34
    Con 14 (+6 item) = 20
    Int 13 (+1 tome at level 1) = 14
    Wis 13 (+1 tome whenever after Monk level + 6 item) = 20

I have a 9 rogue 6 ranger 1 monk build myself. I had a different level distribution spread. I spread out my ranger levels more so I could more maximize my skill points.

If you want to have a good AC you will be much better going DEX-based Halfling, with Combat Expertise instead of Power Attack.

If you want to have high damage (deducted from your max STR) you can drop the monk level for another Rogue level, the 10th. It has great enhancements to offer, and the Crippling Strike feat. YOur AC will harddly be in a working range anyway in the high levels any way.
Erzskalde (Warchanter) / Erzassassin (just passing through - ignore me) / Erzsoldat (waiting for TR-time) / Erzschmied (ranged Artificer)
