potion of wonder wager question

So I have a pile of potions of wonder and thought it might be fun for people to wager some gold to guess the effect and if correct win the gold wagered on the effect from that particular potion. I could put these on a lowbie as it's no fun to see a save vs. disintegrate, flesh to stone, or slay living.

Is there a group of people, say 5 to 11, willing to pony up the paltry sum of say 1k gp per bet to watch the results, have fun, and possibly win the gold (the pot would be 0.80*1k gp*total number of players)? The house, that's me, gets a modest 20% of the total bet for each potion.

I guess it's possible that everyone might guess "effect x" and then I'd end up losing the small amount of gold [200K gp I am poor I know] that I do have. Maybe it's not such a good idea as a player sponsored in-game event.
