A top ten that' actually is worth while

Since I'm at work & it's slow I thought I'd stir the pot with a top 10. This as a top ten tha matters though. What's your stadard beverage/beverages of choice while playing DDO. This way we can truly see the number of people on Khyber that might qualify for AA meetings. Who knows maybe we can all got to one together online before DDO. It could be the online 12 step DDO program. Then again maybe caffine will be the drink of choice and we will need to find some sleep aid programs.

3. Vodka & diet tonic w/ lime once the Sierra Nevada starts getting too heavy.

Actually, for some strange reason I can't stand coffee (even though I'm addicted badly to caffiene). So for me, it's probably Pepsi Max at #1, Coke Zero at #2, then the sugary versions thereof at #3 and 4.


Nothing beats Red Bull, but that stuff is too expensive for general gaming use

You got it backwards....it's hot tea that's the worst stuff and ice tea that is the drink of the gods. Or sun tea, mmmmm....

Most Europeans will tell you beer is better warm. A company I used to work for had an office outside London and about this time of year the staff from that office would come to the States and we would hold annual meetings followed by a dinner. Well that dinner would become a beerfest with the English asking for the bartenders to let the beer sit. Needless to say I learned to drink beer warm but I prefer it cold still.

As for a list of my beverages of choice...

Yuengling Lager or Black and Tan
Level or Absolut Vodka
Various Wines...
Diet Dr Pepper
Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper
Diet Mt Dew
Green Tea

Depending on my mood:

- Water.
- Rum & Coke (Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum works nicely here).
- Beer (generally drink ciders (summer), or bitters (year-round, but have varied tastes). London Pride / Spitfire are personal favs, as is Adnams, but the latter is hard to get here in Canada. Also a fan of various Ontario/Quebec microbrewery beers such as KLB Raspberry Wheat and St. Ambroise Apricot Wheat). Would never say no to a Bulmer's or Magner's either.
- Mulled wine or hot apple cider (with above-mentioned spiced rum) for the winter months.

PS - cold iced tea (the North American variety) is a blessing if dehydrated. Had a "bottomless iced tea" in the Phillipines after a week of scuba diving and being super dehydrated in the heat there, and it tasted like liquid gold, I assure you.
