I'm not kidding, that was the most fun I've had in the Shroud! And, dare I say it? Probably one of the easiest Shroud runs I've ever done, .

Seriously, amazing job everyone. What a blast.

Looking at that picture, it looks like the pudding(s) off camera got the final kill.

But that run was 12 kinds of awesome and fun. We don't need no stinkin' non-bard icons.

LOL, we had plenty of killing power in there to be sure and I think 3-4 of us were healing. I swung at the portals though, honest, I really did...

Default Bards rule, everyone else drools!

    One word, Awesome.

    The Beginning:

    After part one

    [IMG][/IMG]
    OK that was surprisingly easy?

    After part two:

Well I didn't think we would get here, no deathblock? Luckily no Fire ele.

    After part three:

OK we were getting ready to seperate the boys from the men. No time to pose for pictures?

    After part four:

    SIKE!

    [B]
    Oh yeah we rocked it!

Last fight, was it all for not?

Finished and one of the easiest run I ever had.

Personally I wanna thank Nuckin, I usually find these things corny, but I had a blast.

I don't think we could have done it without a couple special guest appearances:

Fully buffed Black Puddings are where it's at - with a fire resist Harry wasn't even really doing much to them. One of them even showed up while fighting the lieutenants, and started off with Harry's aggro while we buffed & used pools.

So, I was thinking about how ridiculously easy this run was and I think I know why. Anyone who has a Bard will understand this perfectly. This class is a jack-of-all-trades support type class. We'll never be as good a healer as a cleric, a caster as a wizard, or a fighter as a fighter (yes, there are many awesome builds out there who could argue this point, I'm just talking in general ).

So, our playstyle really gravitates to watching ALL the action and making the decision to fill in where we are needed, whether it be fighting or healing or buffing, etc.. Any good Bard plays like this. What I realized today was that it was so easy because we had 12 really good bards, playing Bards! A little bit of everything, we all knew when more damage was needed, when more healing was needed, when someone needs a buff, when to caste haste, everything. And only a group of 12 good bards could show off that kind of inherent teamwork.

Playing as a team is the heart of Dungeons and Dragons and I realized today that Bards truly are designed to be core of that team. Everyone in that group deserves kudos, not just for great builds and fancy kits, but for playing their characters to perfection.

Cause that's what good Bards do.

I think the reason that any all class Shroud runs goes off without much a hitch is cause it's the one time when everyone works togehter as a team. It's pretty rare any egos get in the way.....everyone is there to beat it. I really enjoyed the all Rogue one we did, wish we would do another one....still waiting for the VoD run that never happened. Now if everyone would join a Shroud group or any raid for that matter....and work as a team it would be awesome.

I knew you guys would do it....grats.
