As I have said three times now, it was purposely overdramatic.
You can say that, in your opinion, the message of my post wast negative, or doomsaying. However, once I agree with you that it was overdramatic it stops being an opinion. You can debate forever when debating Nietzsche's intention on this or that line. If he was available, his explanation would be a fact. All opinions contradicting it would thus be wrong.
If you keep arguing, you are purposely being wrong.

1. Your Intent has no bearing on My interpretation. Are You saying that a reader's interpretation of an author is not subjective? Even with a footnote from the author, the reader can see it differently based on personal experience. Remember, now, that My interpretation of what You wrote is My opinion. Read that again. *OPINION*. Subjective. Intent is irrelevant. Over-dramatic is irrelevant.
2. First, You left out the part where I said it was My opinion and added a period. Intentional? Second, You have once again hand picked a single line to respond to. Nothing to say about the rest of it? Oh yeah, the "I see nothing there to respond to" schtick. Once again, I will assume that You concede these points as a matter of fact.
3. So what if You were being "over-dramatic"? Your Hyperbole is lost in the overall sentiment of the post (Just to remind You, *OPINION*). You cannot obviate the interpretation because You don't "like it". Once again, it's subjective. Intent is irrelevant.
Borr, We could discuss this until the cows come home, and We won't be able to agree on anything. What Your intent was and My opinion of it will most likely never converge in agreement. Let's just agree to disagree............

A readers interpretation is completely irrelevant when the author clarifies his or her point of view. Would you tell your boss that you didn't do your job because in your "opinion" he didn't give you work based on a subjective interpretation?
Based on my interpretation of your posts, you have a chip on your shoulder and could care less about saying something useful, and would rather troll and attempt to provoke the OP.
Hey, it's just my opinion, after all.

Exactly. No matter what the reader understands, he simply cannot argue with the author about what he intended to say.
It is quite ironical to say that Aspenor are part of the same clique. We have had quite our drama in the past and we disagree on multiple points.
Hey Asp, should we nerf monk Wisdom bonus to AC?

I expressed an opinion of what Borr wrote, there was no more disrespect than he affords me.
Here is the post:
First, Yeah, I read it all. I fail to see Your point, other than "DOOOOOOM!" or "Please make the game play the way I want".
Second, It's a waste of time pining for an era that is long gone. Demise? Perhaps for You. I for one will continue to enjoy DDO for what it is: Best Combat system anywhere, Great people to group with, and Most of all, Still FUN after almost three years of play.
Granted, it was a nice "story", but when You read between the lines, it's really no different than "UR Suxorz, If U don't change <insert whatever here> I'm going to take My ball and go Home!"
Defend it as a "clever" way to get Your point across, but if it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it's probably a duck...........
Is it a bit brusque? Perhaps. It is in no way disrespectful.
Now on to You. When You accuse Me of Trolling for expressing an opinion, it's called Trolling. When two or more people gang up on another in order to discredit and/or belittle them, it's called Bullying. Merely expressing a contradictory opinion should not be grounds for the accusation of Trolling. Again, just because You have 10,000+ posts doesn't mean You get "Respect" out of hand. When You disrespect Me, I will respond in kind.

I fail to see how post count has anything to do with it. If anything, it just goes to show that I am more tactful in my posting than those that have been banned.
I get respect because I know what I'm talking about 95% of the time, and often provide meaningful and valuable feedback.
You on the other hand tell Borr he's whining, when it's blatantly obvious if you even bother to read the OP that he's providing constructive feedback.
Then again, you probably couldn't identify a satire if it was rolled up and smacked across your face.
Borro, ddo's resident negative nancy, strikes again. So Borro does somebody need to sprinkle something happy in your corn flakes or what?

When I was in grade 6, I spent half of the school year speaking English full time. I became fluent in English after that. But, it took me almost a year to be able to be able to say "pieuvre" again as the word at crossed my mind all the time was "octopus". I had to describe the animal most of the time for others to understand me.

DDO is great.
Time heals all wounds.
If DDO isn't progressing the way one likes then try taking a break.
