    Default Monk/Cleric

I have been messing with a Monk/Cleric as a "battle cleric" build. I have tried several races and dwarf seems best suited for me. I went higher str/con/wis/dex, 15 or 16 based on enhacements and tomes to achieve 16th level stats in the mid to high 20s. My original concepts were 12 or 13 levels of Cleric. I have a current version that has worked well at Monk 2/Cleric 1. I was wondering if anyone else has expierences with similar builds, specifically were to split the classes and tactics. My feats are PA, Sap, Extend and Stunning Fist and the monk "fire" enhancement. A thousand thank you (s) for any comments.

I have a 2 monk/ 1 fighter/ 13 cleric that is curently level 10, and works out very well, I feel the hit to healing, and heal as much from wands and scrolls as from mana. My dps tends to be as high as a fighter, but I'm not able to get my ac high enough for it to matter in areas like GH (at about 39). It's working out very well though.

Did you take the level of fighter for haste boost and/or martial weapons? What weapons do you favor? Is your reflex save high enough to support evasion? Do you use armor or cloth/bracers? Sorry for all the questions.

Here's a link to the build http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=160279, I use cloth, with dual-longsowrds, and my reflex is around +17, I'm not to well twinked though, and at high levels the evasion will definitely be worth it. I took the fighter level for a feat, haste boost, and I had a level to spare, I didn't need another cleric.

I paper planned a similar TWF m2/f1/c13 but never rolled him up. It was high CHA because I was trying to work in divine might on something. I put fighter in to get GTWF by level 16. If I remember right.

    Default thanks again

Thanks for your futher comments, for now I will level in cleric and hold the Monk to 2. I can decide later about an additional Monk or Fighter level. I should consider the TWF route...I will have enough dex for improved and a +2 tome away from Greater. If anyone else has any ideas they would be appreciated.
