    Default Adamantine body or not.

Was searching through the forums but couldn't find my answer. However, when looking at the many builds for front line melee ( barb/fighter) i do not see ADAMANTINE BODY listed (if ever) as one of the feats. So my questions are:
    ''Is that feat worth it?''.
    ''If not, why?''

    Default uneducated reply

I think it maybe the fact that Adamantine is considered heavy armor which a barbarian can not have.

Its simply not worth it in most cases. THe Body feat takes up a Valuable Feat spon for a Barbarian, and Adamantine on a FIghter rarely can net you a higher AC than a well designed Mithral Body version. (Or base COmposite for that matter)

Is is considered heavy armor, but because it is so special, a pure WF Barbarian can use it without hinderance.

it is a very good feat up untill you reach level 8 or 9. then you should swap it out. you wont be able to keep a meaningfull AC once you reach the Gianthold, so it would be wasted from then on. Thats why it isnt posted in builds, as they mainly foczus on the endgame.

This reaffirms my statement that I made an uneducated reply. I appologize to anyone who incurred brain damage from anything I have written................EVER.

P.S. The only Warforged Barb character I have, has only 1 level Barb and the rest Sorc. I stayed with Mithril Plating because that was all I wanted to deal with for Arcane Spell Failure even though I do a fair amount of melee.

My suggestion is take it (or Mithral body depending on dex) at lvl 1, but trade it out later when AC doesn't selp as much, or when you can get batter AC without it....etc.

Probably change for Power Attack since IMO Power Attack at low lvl isn't worth all the misses you get from having a low BAB.

For a barbarian, you have such a low AC that having a Mithral or Adamantine body does help your AC at higher levels. At low levels, as metioned previously, it helps and can be swapped out for power attack later on.

For a fighter, or multiclass high-AC melee, Mithral is the better option as it nets you a higher AC (if you have the dex for it), and it doesn't affect the Evasion feat.

this begs the question then. I am starting up a WF pally/fighter/rogue. His dex at end game will be 20. SO I was going to go with the Mith body as it is considered a light armour. AGain, since i dont know much about WF my question are as follows:

    1. Do docents stack with the mithral body?
    2. Do armour bracers stack with either docent or a mithral body? (i wouldnt think they did, but had to ask)

    inquiring minds want to know.

It can be partially worth it for low levels (1-5 or maybe up to 10), but at that point a barb should really drop the adamantine body and give up on having any AC.

Which ****es me off to no end on my Paladin.

Now I have to squeak in 6 enhancement points somewhere for 5/adamantine DR.

On the plus side, I can fit in a new feat if I ever do decide to re-spec it. My DEX is so low on him it's just not worth it I'm thinking.

Huh? You know Adamantine Plating does not stack with your Angelskin right?
