VoN 3 Marut is Buggy

I have run this quest several times over the past 2 weeks and each time the
marut has taken forever to come out of his little room. I am talking about several
minutes to a half hour.


Anyone else seen this?

yeah had it happen to me yesterday, had to take the whole group next to his barrier for a couple of minutes until he activated.

Yes same here, and when your lvl 8 all looking at the barrier and it comes down like 10 minutes later when all are running around and 10 elementals and him come out.

it's not pretty.

Yes, I ran it about 4-5 times in the last week or so to help flag guildies for a mid-level guild dragon run we're planning. So been running Myara...

The first time it happened I talked to Veil like 3-4 times before he budged a tad in his closet... i'd say took 3-4 minutes before he animated.

The second time we ran was more like about 8-10 minutes? and ... so on..

The last time I ran it I thought he'd never come out to play, I assumed he's just scared that when Myara knocks at his door he's going to get his butt spanked by all her bully friends... poor marut.

If you have a caster along with firewall, it seems you can put a sideways firewall across the barrier, and he'll come right out.

Still kinda irritating, tho...

I have found that if you go up to the barrier to beg him to come out and play, he -usually- will. I think he needs to agro on you before he'll move to the wall.

Same experiences here on the times I've been in there recently. I was wondering if his pathing to his door got broken somehow, like he can't find his first waypoint or something and has to wander aimlessly into it...

At any rate, that dude's GPS is broken and it needs a AAA call by the devs. OnStar anyone?

I think he's just scared. I had to go get him the other night too. One MM seemed to make him mad enough to come and get me. One disintegrate, however, made him wish he'd stayed in his room.
