Hey just bought a new comp and installed DDO. game loads somewhat ok, on the load screen i have no background pic just a blue screen with white lines forming boxes on it. the other problem im haveing is it will not let me use the dx 10 options here is my dx diag info. anyhelp would be appreciated

You are missing a folder and a JPG picture.

c:\Program Files\Dungeons & Dragons Online - Stormreach\raw\en\logo

In the logo folder you need the ddo_module_splash.jpg

For the DX10 part. Make sure you are not running DDO with XP SP2 compatibility mode.

well not sure about the first part that your talking about on this part.

DX10 you have to have a DX10 graphics card it's not just vista. it is the architecture of the card

nForce 630i is the chipset on the motherboard and would not effect the card if you upgrade it later

don't ever buy one of their monitors the dead pixal policy sucks it has to have atleast 10 to 15 dead pixels on the same spot be for they will replace it

The OP never stated, his computer was directX10 capable, he was just asking why he could not use directX10 options, nothing more and someone answered his question.

The Gateway computer the OP bought is a low cost gaming computer, it has a small power supply, so adding a newer video card will be harder to do without also replacing the power supply with a bigger one.

The blue screen with lines in it will fix itself the next time the game updates. Mine did the same thing on Vista 64-bit.
