A lot. 2nd fastest attack speed in the game, 17-20 crit range (15-20 in the hands of a barb) and it's ranged. Theres a lot to like about this weapon.

Not to derail thread, and I think I've seen this posted before, but isn't it a little ridiculous that barb crit rage can be applied to range?

As far as the worth of the repeater, it's the WoP i would second-most covet after a rapier, so make sure you get a lot if you trade it.

You know, a number of people think these are worth a lot, but I have seen at least one +1 sit on here for a long time not traded. Thing is, not a lot of repeater builds out there compared to anything else. Note, I am not making an offer as I said, people keep thinking they are worth more than I would pay for a build that I play maybe once every 3 months. Still like my old Bard, but he mostly sells stuff and waits for a cap raise now a days.

Well, it depends, if you want the moon and the sky (which is what people assume with a message that says "not sure if I'll sell) then the truth of the matter is that the item is more useful than it's market value.

If you're looking for 400k plat or something in that neighbourhood, then state so and you'll start hearing offers.

I got a very nice trade for the one I had about 2 weeks ago. Just hold out for what you want. I put a few of my wants in a small list and then got some PM's.

I got a W/P dagger and Plat for mine....so they can be traded.

By no means did I mean to imply it was junk to vendor. Just that unless the right person comes along, you may be holding it a while. Soup sold theirs, yet another has been posted a couple times on the forums and I have not seen it traded yet (but it may have by now). It really is about what you think it is worth. I think soup got a good deal as I value a w/p dagger more, but then I have a lot of two weapon and dex based toons. Since as I stated earlier, I only have one repeater toon that I don't play much anymore, to me it would be worth around the 400K or less mark. But others may find it more valuable. Probably is, it is only as valuable as the trade partner is willing to give. That can vary wildly over time and based on when the right parties meet.

It's worth a lot, but not even close to a W/P rapier. More along the lines of a few 100K plat. I have no sense of how values have changed, but it would have been 200K to 300K plat a few months ago. Everything seems to have doubled since then though, so maybe it is worth 400K to 600K plat now?

Anyway, it is a great ranged weapon, but I believe the attacks per second is way lower than TWF melee, so it is only awesome when compared to other ranged choices. Compounding that, there are much fewer people looking for one.

If I'm wrong, someone should make me an offer too, because I have a +2 Darkwood Heavy Repeater of W/P in the bank waiting for my repeater build to level.

Slower than Greater TwF but faster than any other melee.

Repeater = 120 max
1HF = 89
ThF = 81
Bow = 47

Problem is fitting the exotic feat in, hence fewer buyers. But still a truly awesome weapon.
