Valiant and noble of you, but that pretty much sums it up. People will accept an immediate down time to fix this rather than shut it down for god knows how long.

Me personally, what worries/scares me the most isnt so much that its down for a week or so, but the wiggle room they have already allowed themselvs to keep this Opus Magnus Quest down far longer if need be :

That was the first thing i thought of, remove the "means" not the quest, fix said problem, implement in the next patch or two, reintroduce the "means" Obviously this only works if the problem is what we think it is, but I think with all the chatter, etc about it, its a pretty good guesstimate.

Byzantian my friend, you have always supported my posts in regards to us getting shafted on downtime and I really appreciate it.
