Are the servers ready for holiday traffic?

Last holiday season there was a large increase of players and it resulted in lots of lag. The lag seemed to be creeping in again over Thanksgiving. Holiday sales are a great opportunity to increase base. Are the servers ready for the increased traffic?

Agreed. It's a silly question Parvo, how should they answer?

"Yes its ready, all will be perfect in the world" - Well you never say that in IT, things happen.

"It should be fine, we rebuilt based on our expectations and did simulated load tests but of course haven't had the expected load in real life yet so we shall see" - That's the real "prepared" IT response, but can you see the "doooooooommmm" posts it would trigger?

"No, expect problem"....Yup, that would go over real well.
