    Default Paladin aura

I've had a capped paladin for 2 yrs. I have never once heard someone ask where I was so that they could be in my paladin aura. It now has +4 AC and +2 saves. Sure people remark when we are buffing that "wow, with the paladin nearby I have 68 AC." But never once has someone said "let's all make sure to fight near the paladin." Comments, thoughts?

Because the +4 AC probobly doesnt matter to anyone else in the party.

The only times I have been asked to stand next to someone is when they are greater commanded or flesh'd to stone, so that they can break out of the effect faster.

Better way to look at it: YOU should make sure you fight near everyone to give them your aura bonus.

Pretty simple - At high end, unless your AC gets higher the mid 50's on normal, it is almost pointless for someone to get your Aura benefit. IE - a barbarian that has 40 AC wouldn't benefit from 44... but a ranger with 55 ac might benefit a lot from a +4 AC. So usually most people aren't twinked enough to have high AC that would matter with your aura, but apparently that guy did!

That's why I make sure to fight away from the group. They die, I'm the hero.

    Works every time.
