    Default intimidiplo

i was curious what someone players experience is with diplomacy and intimidate...

i know that relatively few players use it because i rarely see the icons in quests...

i was thinking, maybe a paladin with diplomacy and intimidate may be pretty fun ...
does the radius of the diplo or intimidate increase with more profeciency in those skills , or just the effects of getting a mob of a caster or rogue?

strategy, make them really mad, then apologize , then hit them a few times, then diplo them , then the mob runs after the caster , then intimidate...

i'm sure some crafty individual has specced out a intimidiplo tank. i'm guessing paladin with decent charisma would do the trick...

it's these little buttons that introduce something called tactics into the game and i like seeing other players use them as well as me using them myself..

It is a neat idea, but it will not work. The cool-down timers are linked to the skills so as soon as you hit diplo you have to wait until it cools before you can use intimidate and by then all the mobs will rush your other party members. I know this is true because I have a tank with both abilities maxed and when I hit Diplo it hurts the others in group bad unless they have a good AC too. IMO diplo is for the rogues in game that take aggro and need to get it off. I use diplo on my rogue alot to rid me of aggro and intimidate alot to keep aggro on my tank.
