Ascensionn is a 9 mnk/6 rgr/1 rog human intim tank

grats! I've done it on normal but I expect it's a lot harder on elite. Are there more than 4 living spells up at any one time on elite? Are there any other respawns in addition to the ones on normal? I might give it a go sometime

I killed the mephits, WOE'd the living spells and left the fire elementals alone. The mephits never respawned and no new living spells appeared.

How did you survive the Fire Eles' fireballs? Surely in the time taken to kill the bosses you'd roll enough 1s at critical times to kill you.

I struggle to survive in there with a 38 Reflex save and evasion on Calcryx, and that's on normal.

Improved evasion helped, and I was spamming fist of light so I could regain some hit points back if I ever did take damage.

Fighting the efreet required some extra manuvering because of his fire aura. I would UMD fireshield scrolls and heal scrolls to keep the DPS going on him.
