B/c an argument can be made that as a caster, you're sacrificing item slots for AC that isn't spectacular. Also, as a caster, you're avoiding aggro in the first place, and when u do get it, you neutralize it right away, instead of sitting there letting the mob swing at you....and the few occasions the mob does swing at you, you have some sort of protection on yourself like displacement and/or stoneskin.

Only have it to tier II right now. I am a battlewizard though. How are you hitting 59?
I use expertise, but insight and +8 bracers would even that out. Which means you have a 32 dex, or 30 as a halfling?

I can get 2 more from a recitation wand, but I don't factor that in because it is too short.

My cleric has 208 HP. with a 38 AC. She's my main.

My caster has a 17 AC. And 204 HP. She's my number two.

both are NOT shelved.

Both are played with the party in mind, rather than the killcount.

So my cleric heals, offensive casts when nessacary, My Sorcerer is an AoE caster, who likes to dance fast, compete with dry ice machines and makes lawn ordenments as a side business.

3 dodge SoV rune crapola, its bette rnot befor it was MORE is was +4 nat armor /sigh.

But my REALL AC is 50% ie displacment
+distance
+stoneskin/bardsong/bramblecasters situation dependent.
+335HP ragged with no fail UMD 169pt heal scrolls.
+it dies(or becomes a statue for warded ones) before it gets to me.


I go HP route because AC takes build points &/or ITEM slots &/or AP points &/or feats, now you could argue goign for HP takes item slots to BUT most aC build casters still need thoouse HP item for none AC attacks all of the extra resorces needed to get enough AC for some content imo are not worth it.
Because frankly for the stuff I run regularly 59 ac just would not cut it most stuff still gona hit you like you had none.

I love making Lawn orniments, serusly that spell gives me the most joy out of every spell when it lands

and I follow up with a Wounding sickle, thus saving more mana for mor rocky creations.

Or, if I am lazy, CK and a firewall. Sometimes i jump around, for old times sake!

i counted recitation scroll but image drow and i dont have 32 dex lol, what server are you on? maybe we cld have a melee fight in pvp n see whose better at doing the opposite roll of their class

Trade that wounding sickle in for a puncturing *anything* and you'll see much better results. Proficiency does not matter.

She's actually been on the shelf for about two weeks. When I cap a character, I tend to not play them much afterwards. Now, I still bust her out for guild shroud runs, but beyond that...meh.
